I have always wanted to try one of these recoil reducing muzzle brakes to control the annoying tendency my rifles have to flip when firing ...then I lose the sight picture..& almost never see the hits on varmints..One gun smith told me not to bother as muzzle brakes can adversely effect accuracy...What say ye learned gentlemen about this matter ???...I got to shoot a heavy barrel 22-250 fitted with one last year & out to two hundred yds it was cool seeing the bullet strike the small steel discs...It was not a scientific experiment ..I'm going to fit this to a 243 varmint weight barrel 26 inches long..That way ..I can shoot it bare, fit the brake, compare same load to same load before & after the brake job...If it fails the barrel can be cut & recrowned ...Sound like a plan ??? mike in ct
