Muzzle Brake Cleaning? Ultrasonic?

I've been trying a few things, but can't seem to get the deep down carbon off my brakes. I've been soaking in GM Top cleaner and using Simple Green. They get somewhat clean, but still residue in the deep crevices I can't reach.

Will an ultrasonic cleaner work well? If so, any recommendations?

It's really hit and miss with the affordable Ultrasonics. Mine worked pretty good at cleaning up a carboned up Silencer mount...

I mean the water turned black to where you couldn't see the mount at all. I'd hate to say "get one" and have you be disappointed.

Maybe someone close to you has one you could try first....

I use the Ultrasonic cleaning procedure and mixture Jason Baney describes on this site with excellent results on Breaks. Mine are all Stainless, I don't know if it will effect blueing or not.
