Multi-Round Ballistic Calculator

New to the forum here so if this is answered somewhere else I apologize. I didn't find anything like it.

Does anyone know of a ballistic calculator that will allow you to set up rifle/scope settings and then calculate ballistic tables for multiple different rounds? Alternately, one that will allow you to zero with one particular round and then determine tables for subsequent rounds?

I am wanting to try to work out a one-size-fits-all zero on my 300 BO rifle to allow the use of 110g or 125g supersonic rounds and 190 or 208g subs without the need to re-zero. So I am looking for a calculator that would allow me to set it up for a 200 yard zero with the 110g round and then have it tell me what the bullet trajectory would look like for the 208g round with no changes to the scope.

The problem with the concept, is that there isn't a way to predict how any particular rig will re-zero with a different round after being zeroed with something else.

Because you can't generalize between how rigs will react to a different ammunition, there isn't a program I know of that does what you ask. Most will need you to anchor a model with a zero at some distance and then go from there.

You need two different rifle profiles. Get a 200yd zero with the 110's. Save the profile. In a new profile shoot the subs at 100 yds. without any scope adjustment, measuring the drop. Play with the zero range until the impact is back up to a 100 yd. Zero. Maybe even a 75 yd. zero depending on your shooting distaces. Save profile.

Strelok, and probably most of the ballistic calculators have a zero offset function that will let you do that. Basically you zero the rifle with one load then with a different load you shoot at the same zero and instead of moving the scope you put in the offset from your previous zero, both vertical and horizontal. The calculator will then give you corrections from the offset zero.

As said, you can set up different profiles for each round and then input the zero offsets fort each. I do that with Streelock Pro and with my Kestrel 5700.

As said, Strelok is easy. I'm sure the other apps allow for same.

Ballistic AE let’s you input zero shift values, and a different profile for each load. You have to zero each load to get the shift values but you won’t have to re-zero after that except when the scope drifts or moves. Your application is the purpose of the zero shift input.

Thanks for all the replies. I have been playing with Hornady's 4DOF which allows you to set Zero Angles instead of Zero yardage, but it only allows it for their pre-loaded bullets. Being a novice with ballistic calculators I was not familiar with the Zero offset function. This will help me get a head start before hitting the range and characterizing my specific rifle with the loads.
