I am new to this forum, but I wanted to toss this out for feedback... I bought a Mueller 8.5 - 25 X 50 scope to mount on my M-14S,I use a Leupold LRT on my 6BR and .308 f-class rifles) because it is basically just a toy for me, and I didn't want to spend a great deal.

I have to say that despite its $229 price tag, it is a really exceptional scope. While the reticle is not quite as fine as the Leupold target dot, it is fine nonetheless. It is also very bright, sharp and its adjustments are precise.

I was just wondering - among this group of experts - if anyone has tried them, or heard feedback about them?

I have one of the Eraticators and really like it. Excellent clarity, crisp edges, good controls, very bright. It will shoot some small ones............ You can't see the dot during the day unless it's really cloudy/dark. Cheap scope covers, but I don't guess we buy scopes for the covers, do we?

Lots of scope for the money, for sure, and yes, I would buy another.
