MPA Switch Lug.

Anyone out here have one? Looking at trying PRS and MPA makes a lefty called the MPA 65BA SL. And I could get one fairly quick.
Just looking for any reviews or opinions.

Thanks
Sam.

I have an MPA Hybrid folder that can be set-up for left or right. Mine is a LA 300WSM, I am VERY happy with the quality of their equipment. The modular weight system is giving me the ability to run it in 17lb LV and in 5min bring it up to just under 22lb for HV.....We will see how it goes at 1000BR this year....;)

Regards
Rick

I own a MPA with a Switch Lug setup. I like it so much that I had Clay at West Texas Ordnance add a Switch Lug to a 700 Remington action and chamber two #4 contour Krieger barrels, 6mm & 6.5 Creedmoor.

How does that system work can u take the barrel u have and add that lug to it or does the barrel have to b cut kit for that

I ordered a 6XC-II barrel for my MPA rifle with the Switch Lug. The ordered was placed Jan. 28th and it arrived today Feb. 18th, exactly 3-weeks. It also came with a PTG Headspace Gauge. Now that's quick to get a new barrel...

That is good to know. I just picked my rifle up from Xtreme Guns and ammo very impressed with the fit and feel of it.
Hope she shoots as good as she looks.
The guys over here were great to deal with.

The system looks interesting but I just don't see an advantage to using in over a shouldered barrel or a barrel nut configuration. What am I missing???

I have three SwitchLug builds from West Texas Ordnance with 5 different cartridges and 12 barrels shouldered to fit the lug and to time the brake.

I love the simple barrel change. Clayton offers two options for barrel removal. He normally inlets the stock to allow removal/ install with the stock on. I chose to not have the inlet, so I remove stock to change barrels.

Taking parts next week or so to pick up a rifle and deposit my components for #4.
