Come shoot the 2018 Mountain Man Match with us on 10/27/18! Rules are the same as in the past, UBR format, custom class, 13.5 pounds limit, using UBR caliber specific targets ( .224 .243 .308 ) you’ll be well fed, and will get to share in the $$ Prizes $$. The match will be held in Jonesville VA, same as always, and directions can be had at the UBR web site.

Do you have any other info such as a link to this match ? Is it like the Allegeny Challenge ? Format, Ranges, Targets etc?

Thanks looks like about 3hrs from me not bad at all

Is this like any UBR match where you can shoot 2 rifles that make 13 1/2 lbs like .308 at 100 and .243 at 200

Edited to include the date. You can shoot two rifles but would prefer you shoot the same caliber for both yardage’s please ( like, .243 100&200 and .308 100&200 ) and as long as they meet custom class criteria and weight. Come on up and shoot with us Tim! And don’t worry about Mr. Neville, it has paid back as many as 4 places in the past. So, at least second and third still get a slice.

Just go to Ultimate Benchrest.com and you can see the targets and criteria for the different classes although, for the MM, it’s custom class only. Ranges will be 100 and 200 yards and targets are caliber specific. You’ll shoot 4 targets at 100 and 4 at 200, each target has 6 record bulls and 2 sighter bulls the record bulls have a center dot good for 11 points which gives you a possible score of 264 at each yardage.
