That rebar is '0' pitch rebar and would obviously use a '0' pitch threaded nut....duh...

I worked concrete precast for all my life. We got in rebar that was threaded. Mostly big stuff (10 and 11 BAR) that went into Dowell bar splices in columns for parking garages. Matt

JD, excellent eye sir!! # 4 rebar.. I can't remember but I think 5/8" NC nut.. welded ~6" from the work end.. it makes an excellent "drive point" for 1/2" CS pipe.. aka black iron pipe..
