I wish they would make a 6mm 65-68gr or a 112-118gr 30cal so we can really see the difference
No offense, but I see one target, shot with one rifle. Post your last agg at a match, and I'll treat at Starbucks. I shot one 5-shot target at Kelbly's SS that measured .043" at 100yds during the SS. It was good for 17th (?) iirc that relay. I kept that target pinned to my reloading room for about 25 years. It finally fell on the floor, and my 3 year grandson stepped on it.
The only real test of anything, including the shooter; takes place shoulder to shoulder at a registered match.
Not one target, unless you get a prize for smallest group that relay.
Otherwise, I am with Dusty...
It would indeed, be, as Grand Funk Railroad sang nearly half a century ago; "Some kind of wonderful..." if Hornady can and will build a match winner. We need more choices. Nosler too, for that matter.
I will admit, that I was born in Missouri. Well known as the "Show Me State...".
Isn't that the truth!I guess the best conditions were on tuning day.....
Oh, how many times that target comes back with three and two or even four and one before the stars align and that one special group happens. That, no matter what else happened, is the one that we remember and the one that keeps us coming back (or spending a pile more money).I don't know who you are talking to, but I shot a six target LG agg of 5.38 at 1000 yds last October at the NBRSA regionals with Bart's Hammers. That was only good for third place. The gentleman who won shot a 4.94 with his own bullets. I was disappointed because on tuning day I managed three consecutive sub 2" 3-shot groups at 1000 yds. I guess the best conditions were on tuning day.....

A match will also tell us whether these will blow up or not, that’s my main question now, the BC is real. If only 2-3 guys are shooting them though, that match won’t necessarily reveal their potential. As per my usual, I won’t sit on the pertinent info if they do blow up. The only brand of bullet I have never blown up in F-Class matches is Sierra, but it’s also the brand I’ve used the least. The 183’a have produced clean test targets over 2,400 FPS at 610 yards, though.
. ...exactly..!!I figured they would be on it. Doug and Tim I would trust....but that Ingram fellow.....
I'm sure you mean "machined aluminum tips" don't youSomeone could bring one o those long range guns and some aluminum bullets to the Tack Driver this fall
300 meters oight to be a good judge
