Donny do you not have the 10-22 you got from me?
KIDD
Cry once.
Throw $$$ at a stock 10/22 and you still have a $199 10/22.
Some time ago there was a trend towards chambering Volquartsens in 22 Short. Not sure why.Volquartsen always seems to get top reviews. Never owned one as I hate 22lrs.
There's a used 10/22 in the local pawn shop, cheap. Hmmm ...Kidd barrel on one of them $199 stock 10/22
It may not be the 457. I was going from memory, but I know CZ has a 22 semiauto.Sorry Donny my last reply was to Mongo. The OP has asked about a semi auto , but in second post mentions a CZ457 that is a bolt action?
Its the CZ512 that is semiauto.I'm holding off for the new CZ precision rifle coming out next year for my 22 bolt action, but I still want a nice accurate semi autoThey do. It may not be a semi-auto but a CZ457 is about as good as it gets till you get an Anschutz.
So... Is that 'normal', expected accuracy from a 10/22 built up with Kidd (or Volquartsen?) parts & barrel, or is that exceptional?
How much difference is there in accuracy and/or function of a 10/22 built around a factory receiver, a Kidd Classic and a Kidd Supergrade - assuming the same barrel and internal bits are utilized?
Are the AR uppers generally capable of running at that level?
