Picked one of these up at a gun show and thought I would get into a little rim-fire shooting ,anyone know much about these guns, this one is in pretty good shape has every thing with it except a rear swivel. The bore looks good as far as I can tell nice and shinny and I can see the riffling, gun functions well but I haven't shot it yet. I have a couple bricks of Wolf Match Target ammo to try. For those of you that are familiar with this rifle what has been your experience. The sights on this rifle front -mid -and rear peep are complete

Quite a few years ago, my brother in law gave me a 46 which he inherited from his father. Heavy old bugger, but in good shape. His father shot it in high school matches (allowed back then). I wanted to use it as a scoped squirrel gun. Found a side mount, had it drilled and tapped and put an old Weaver fixed 10x scope on it. It shot really well with Eley standard ammo. Squirrels were not "nutz" about it. I still have it, but don't hunt any more.

Not many shooting these old guns?o_O 50 yard testing.
Finally got out to shoot this old timer and managed a few 1/2 inch groups, with a couple of these groups with three in one hole. Still getting use to using peep sights. Finding out there is a lot of difference in rim-fire ammo, some looks like shot gun patterns while others shoot quiet well, really liking this old gun:D
