Mossberg 22. Plinkster PROBLEM!

Everytime I shoot my plinkster I notice it is shaving the bullets on top on the lead, I thought it was normal then I shot my savage 22. semi auto and it didnt occur. I don't know if this is something normal or I should be worried about

First thing I would do is to take apart, clean and inspect every part on the rifle. but without seeing it sounds like a worn part. The bullets being "shaved" should not be happening in my opinion and is not normal. ;) You might get a better answer from the guys on the Rimfire & Smallbore section here on the forums. :)

Its a out of the box new rifle, I bought it from walmart. Its been doing it since I bought it and I don't know still if its ok to even shoot..

I would box it up and send it back with a detailed explanation and be sure to call first to get a return authorization.

Turns out its normal with new guns, Haha Im a bit over paranoid with fireguns. But I guess it pays to be right?
