any bug...put one in a bag, put it over my head and i will confess to shooting kennedy! I am bug-a-phobic.

I hate blackflies, horseflies, skeeters, and any hornet...cept the famous 460 Lott K hornet!

Between the horse/deer flies , the deer lice and ticks I've become quite the bug o phobe. I run a thermacell when hunting and it sure dose not seem to bother the bucks.

We have a new bug they call a “buffalo fly” that’s kicking our butts. Vanilla extract is one of the few things that gets them out of your face but you have to keep applying it... Avon expedition bug repellent seems to be the best for everything and the pump makes it the best for cost. You smell kinda sexy but it works for around 8 hours.

CHIGGERS. This keeps them off me even on hands and knees in the brush picking berries.
Before you go out, wipe down with isopropyl or rubbing alcohol. Slop some on a washcloth. Wipe all over head to toe. Everywhere.. Then get dressed.
Its the only thing ever worked for me.
For bites i started using a small Benadryl cream or stick applicator. The bites really torment me for 10 days or more. Benadryl makes it stop itching.

chiggers are the worst for me. I'm allergic to them so every bite gets infected. When I get more than 6 - 8 I run a little fever.
Anymore I wear snake boots & douse myself with powdered Sulphur/baby powder; inside & out.

You can cure chigger bites with windex original with ammonia d spray on bites rub in good repeat till itch has stopped
