More MOA w/Burris inserts

According to the Gear Reviews section of this board to obtain more MOA with the Burris inserts all you need to do is,Use a +10 in the rear and a -10 in the front).

My question is, due you use the -10 on top up front with the other half a +10 and a +10 on top and the -10 on the bottom in the rear?

Buriss instructions said you need to use a + and - in each ring.
Rings are 30mm

It's a little confusing because Burris refers to +10 and -10 inserts, or +5 and -5 inserts, when in fact, to achieve the pre-load you use a thick and thin pair in the back combined with a thick and thin pair in the front, just reversed).

Thus, with my 30mm rings Burris says: "30mm comes with "zero" inserts and +/- .010 inserts for both front and rear rings".

To get +10 net in rear with the +/- .010 inserts, in the back you putthe thick insert on the bottom and the thin insert on the top.

In the front to get a -10,net), you put the thin insert on the bottom and the thick insert on the top.

Burris now has +20 and -20 inserts allowing you to match them for up to +40 of pre-load.

Keep in mind that this isn't exactly +40 MOA because the precise amount of elevation depends on the ring spacing.
