I’ve been wanting more magnification currently on my 6.5CM I have a Bushnell Elite Tactical 3.5-21X50 I’ve been trying to sell it or trade it for a Athlon Ares ETR 4.5-30X56. Anyone on here have experience with the both? Is the quality difference substantial? I’m happy with the Bushy just wish it had more power. I would really like a Vortex Razor HD gen ii but that’s out of my current price range.

You should consider a Sightron III 10-50. Great scopes for the money. Take a look. I have NF, Leupold, Athlon, Vortex and Weavers. Anymore, I only buy Weaver fixed 36s or Sightrons.
When I got started, I bought a 16x, then a 22, then a 32, etc. Wished I’d just started with a 10-50!
