More Cloud Peak Gunworks Handi-work!!

Just picked up my new 6.5-06AI yesterday and she looks great!! I have actually had the rifle for a couple of weeks but went over yesterday to paint the stock and Cerakote it. What started out in my mind as Brown stock and OD greed cerakote ended up like this. We started mixing paint for the stock and after some of this and some of that this color appeared. It was not what I had in mind when I walked in there but I was sold on it after the mixing was done. The stock was followed up with Cloud Peak Gunworks "charcoal" Cerakote. The rifle specs are:
Pierce action
27" 3 groove Pacnor #4 Fluted
McMillan A-3 Sporter with Edge Package
Talley LW Rings
Leupold 6.5-20x40 LR
Can't wait to get her out and see how good she shoots. I have no doubts she will be another tack driver. The bonus is it weighs 8lb 4 0z

thats a very nice rifle. 8.4# with the scope? not bad at all. be sure to post your range results. what bullet did you set it up to shoot?--cam

I like it alot, except Trevor put the bolt on the wrong side ;D

you are right, the bolt is on the wrong side...whats up with that?

They say that people who shoot rifles with the bolt on that side are in their right minds!! Yeah it ended up 8lbs 4 0z with the scope. I set it up to shoot 140 JLK's. I took it to the range the other night after mounting the scope and it managed to shoot 3 right at 3/8" and a forth that made it right at 1/2". Not too bad for the maiden group out of the gun. I am really impressed with the way this Pacnor is breaking in, no copper after the first five rounds. I shot 8 the other night at the range getting it on paper and shooting a group and cleaned it and didn't get any copper, pretty impressive. I have another 6.5-06 AI built with a pacnor that has north of 1500 rounds through it and it is still an honest .5 moa gun.
