Montana Gold Bullets? Alternatives?

All my experience with pistol style bullets is with 38 Special and 357 magnum revolvers.

The 125 Hornady XTP is extremely accurate with 231 in my revolvers.

If you're seeking a lead alternative, I've used 125 Oregon Trail laser cast bullets in the past. Also, very accurate at modest velocities with 231 powder.
(shooting them in rifle.... not revolver.... )

;)

That is hillarious... so, the 158gr that all my rifles LOVE I get from NE Reloading... Have talked to them before when they ran out online but still had some in their store. They wouldn't tell me where they get them from but that they literally buy them by the ton. That is them... LOL. I have tried their 125gr JHP and SP in this rossi and they don't shoot as well as the Montana Gold. I have 1000 of there JHP 115gr 9mm I will start loading this summer when my bucket of XTP runs out. They are a good looking bullet. Thanks! :)
Zero makes a very good bullet, used a lot by many Bullseye, PPC, and Bianchi pistol shooters. They shoot pretty good at 50yds.20D6B3B7-4525-4FD1-A165-1C766B608DC2.jpeg

Have you had any troubles with the ZERO 9mm bullet being 0.356" diameter?
They make some that are labeled as .356 and 38 Super. The 121gr is, I shot it for a while and it was a hammer.

the ones I shoot now are labeled .355 /9mm and measure as such.

You can try xtream bullets and see

I’ve had this rifle for years… tried everything “commonly” available (including extreme). The MG dot the i… several others are OK, but MG 10-20 shot groups are demonstrably smaller always. I haven’t been shooting this gun for the last 2 years except at club matches burning components I already have for that reason.
