For the past 35 years or so, every time I visited my local range to either test for data or just shoot for fun I would always pick brass off the ground. I would look through all of the barrels set at each bench and pick out mainly once fired brass. Fellow shooters would look at me like I had something wrong, but over the years I was able to accumulate 15 barrels of brass. Up until about 6 months ago I thought that the scrap price would enable me to get a new BAT action and some barrels, but now I’m thinking that I might be able to pay off my house. Reloading components are going through the roof. Also, don’t over look shotgun hulls, they will be next.
