Moly and boronnitride compatability

Shot some of tubbs boron dtacs in my 6br and since they did not shoot well in my 8 twist I discontinued the test after about 5 shots ...However when I went back to my 107gr sierra mk that are moly coated the accuracy has gone to hell...whereas it shot bug holes before it will not group into 3/4 of an inch anymore...any ideas

Run bore paste or Flitz thru it to clear out the moly and BN. I've tried mixing Danzac & BN and the coating would never even out. I didn't really notice any great affect on accuracy while doing it though.



Moly and Danzac might mix as Danzac seems to have more affinity for copper and moly seems to have more for steel but don't know how the slip planes would work.

I have shot the 115 DTAC with both moly and BN coatings.

After cleaning the bbl, I have switched back and forth between coatings and cannot see any accuracy or velocity differences.

This is thru a 6 XC shooting 1K distances.
