Modified case help

I dropped my 22-250 Hornady modified case gauge and dented the neck. I know if I resize the case the bullet won't slide freely when using the tool. What should i do?

Use a bullet to straighten out the neck.

Work the dent out with a punch . Take a case put a bullet in it and wiggle it around in the dented case cases . Larry

I would resize your case and then what I have done was take a small round file, that you can buy in most hardware store, and work it around the case neck until the bullet slides in freely.

Did the same with my .308. Ended up running it with a .303 Brit neck sizer, back to good! any chance you have a .224 expander ball?

Use a bullet to straighten out the neck.

+1^^^ Ive dropped and dented a modified case neck, running a bullet into it straightened it out enough for use again.

Get a threaded primer and load it and shoot it back straight!
