Moderator Temp Absence

Guys,

I'm going to be out of the country for about 10 days starting 12/4. I doubt if I'll be able to access the site more than sporadically. So please keep it friendly and genteel on the Forum. :nono:

There won't be a new Gun of the Week story next week nor a BLOG Update. The BLOG takes about 5-6 hours to do, and a GOTW story, well, sometimes two entire days AND an all-nighter.

I'm sorry I can't put up new content next week, but there's nobody to crop/upload the photos, edit the story, adjust the links, write the code. I tried to have a story pre-packaged ready to go, but never got the photos.

Hope you guys enjoyed the Buyers Guide I built over the last two days. Ton 'o work.

Maybe it's good I'm taking a break. I'm getting a repetitive stress injury, similar to carpal tunnel but in my upper/shoulder arm. The only real solution is to get away from the computer.

FYI, I hate missing a week. But I've worked continuously on the site since August '04. Hopefully I can deputize someone to take over in the future for a week or two,but I think they would be shocked at how much work is involved for no pay).

Just wanted to add my voice to those who have thanked you for such a great forum and truly helpful and well designed site. Have an enjoyable vacation and have FUN!!

BTW, you still have an invite to come up the coast and pop some little long tail varmints with me. Maybe after the rains.
