Model 70 & Timney Trigger

I installed a Timney trigger in my Model 70 .223 WSSM today. There is a problem I can't figure out. Install was easy peasy but the barreled action now doesn't want to fit the B&C stock right. When I torque down the stock bolts the bolt binds. I first put the action into the stock without the bolt and when the stock bolts were torqued I could not insert it. Took the action back out, inserted the bolt, tested trigger and safety again, and put the action back into the stock. Same thing. Bolt binds bad. I thought the trigger inlet was binding so I relieved the stock in that area. If I don't torque the stock bolts, there is no binding. I'm missing something. Ideas?

AH HAHHHHHH!!!!! Found the problem. It only took me a day and about 5 hours of sleuthing. The Timney trigger has a set screw with a lock nut on the 'tail' of the assembly which is tightened after the small and large cross-pins are installed. That set screw was sitting on the aluminum bedding block in the stock and preventing the action from fully seating into the stock. When I torqued the stock bolts it seems the action was also being torqued causing the bolt to bind. I shortened the set screw and drilled a small relief indent into the bedding block just for good measure. Problem solved. Something to keep in mind for the future. Thanks for looking.......
