Model 7 footprint

You and me both brother!..i have looked and looked for a model seven footprint, in a left hand action. Possibly mag feed system..i have about 4 rifles i want to build if i can only find the perfect action..and a lefty model seven would fit the bill perfectly.
The CZ 527 micro action is awesome..but to flimsy compared to the model 7
Ill go check out Defiance..probably just what im looking for...remember when a model seven was 650$ new ...now they are 1800$ ..bahahaha...ill throw rocks at my target before i pay 1800$ for something that was barely worth 650$ a few years ago..
These manufacturers have lost their minds.
Same product, same package, triple the price..
Get bent greedy bastards..its not inflation or shipping, its not material cost, or intricate work
Its American greed and its spreading like covid in fact i am proud to say i have not purchased one item from Brownells, or Midway usa since pre-covid price hikes.
I haven't purchased one primer, or bullet from those corporations.
I bet as an American consumer, i can wait it out longer then there companies can.
Ive watched the US market swing up and down over the past 50 something years of my life..and one thing that is proven to us Americans over and over and over...save your money and wait.
Be patient. Once we hit a depression..all of a sudden when folks are hungry they get a clear head and adjust prices ..always have, always will

How about a zermax action..ive heard some good things from guys here, and i see on there website tjey are taking orders..they make a nice looking little action.
But again im speaking from pictures , and heresy
The stiller TAC30 is nice looking action with lots of possibilities..and price is acceptable for a custom action..even to a bitter old fart like me

All you have to do is call Jim Borden and order four Alpine XP's in left hand. Problem solved.

I do hope to build the mini in left hand at some point but that will likely be a future endeavour as we are still prototyping the right hand. As to the weight on it I honestly don't know what it will come in at.
We are still playing with what components will fit the action. All that I can confirm right now is that it fits in the OEM Howa mini stock and it fits in the MDT Oryx with the howa mini footprint.
I hope this helps a little even though I am not able to answer your questions well at this point. I hope to gain a better idea in the future as to what parts will be compatible with this action!

Defiance can make a Model 7 footprint action, I have three of them. Mine are RH versions but they had the programming to make LH versions when I bought mine. They no longer list them as available so you may have to beg for one. One of mine is made of CM, I had to beg for it.

Its my understanding that the original owner, Glenn Harrison, sold the company and the new owners have not been as accommodating as Glen was. I honestly had no idea that they had stopped making actions with the model 7 footprint. I know they have the program for it..
Have you checked with Stiller actions. Jerry Stiller has also sold that company and I don't know if they can help you or not.
