Modacam Custom Rifles

There are 2 bench rest targets on the ibr target the 10 ring is .5 inches on the ir50/50 target the 10 ring is .25 inches. The ir50/50 target is scored worst edge the shot touches. The x ring is a dot that must completely wiped out by the bullet hole to count as an x. Hope that helps.

ir50/50 is scored best edge meaning touch the line of the next highest point ring it is scored in. ARA is worst edge break the line outside of the highest scoring ring you get the lower point.

We started shooting an open BR-50 last year.
How does scoring compare ?
Br-50 is no X's ,touch the line is scored out, a 50, stay within the line measures .400 is 100.

Could y’all post pictures of the two style targets and how they are scored for js2013
,,,,,,,,,,and others
This is an IR50 target. A good one Pierre shot I believe at the 2nd match of this year. You have to touch the 10 ring to be a 10 and have to touch the dot to be an X. One thing about IR50 scoring; It’s a pretty stiff penalty to miss. Overall score beats X count. Tony Harper has a post somewhere explaining the rules better than I could. I’ll try to find it later today.

Sounds similar to ARA worst edge

If they're shooting the original BR-50 it's what ARA came from. Same basic target but 50 bulls in (I believe) 30 min. There was some other differences too like weight handi-capping. There's a few articles floating around the web if you dig around
