A shout-out to my friend Travis Greer who won F-Open today. Congrats, buddy, well done! Another shout-out to Jeremy Newell in F-TR who shot an outstanding 600-36X in F-TR to finish in 3rd place after a tough day yesterday. Also, very well done!

F-Open:
Travis Greer 1196-80X
Eric Johnson 1196-77X
Sam Griggs 1195-65X

F-TR:
Mark Creason 1190-52X
Keith Conrad 1189-55X
Jeremy Newell 1187-54X

It was a great weekend at Bucksnort. We had perfect weather, a huge turn out, and enough wind to make you think where did that come from. Thanks to Scott, Walt and Greg for running a tight ship and getting us through 4 relays before 2pm each day.

Thanks to Ryan for having everything organized and ready to go even though he couldn't be there. Another huge thanks to Ryan for coordinating the biggest prize table I've seen at a rifle match in possibly ever. I think we had 8+ scopes\spotters and numerous other prizes. The majority of 50+ shooters got drawn twice. Thanks to all of the sponsors that helped make that possible.

Congrats to Travis and Mark on their wins amongst a tough field of shooters.
Looks like it was a tight battle the whole way.

Thanks Ryan for putting together another great state match. And wow the prize tables yeah with a “S”. Everybody walked away with something exceptional nice prizes.
Jermey, Scott, Greg, Walt, Jim for making it happen. We all left the match with a little more hearing than normal. But we still missed hearing the line calls from the pits. Not the same with out you Chris.
No lies it was not a easy match, with all the top notch shooters. It could have gone any way at any point.
Mark Creason it was a pleasure being sqauded with you. A true nail bitter down to the end in both Tr and open.
Let’s all do it again next year

Congrats to all the shooters.

Jeremy and Match Directors,

if you haven’t already, you should look into that 600-36X. I think it may have broken the national record. I shot a similarly high X count 600 last weekend at a non-registered match and looked just out of curiosity. If I read it right, the current record is 600-34X. Either way congratulations on a great day of shooting.

Thanks Keith. Craig Martin shot an incredible 600-47 last fall and I don't think the website shows it yet. I think they are waiting for the blood work to come back on that one.

But if we're taking votes.. a 600 at Red Castle should get a certificate anyways. ;)

Congrats to two great dudes...Travis Greer and my neighbor Mark Creason. Congrats on some mighty fine shooting in a tough field.

Jeremy that's laying it down bud. Congrats.

Congratulations to the winners awesome match. And just good to see all my friends. Did miss Chris and Ryan. See you again next year

Congrats to all the winners, all the volunteers that make it possible for us to come and shoot with the best crowd in Midwest.
Shout out to the Women and JR’s that compete. Saw old friends and made new ones.

First time to Bucksnort and gotta say what a nice group of people! Great match run by some fantastic people and that prize table...WOW! Home to some serious shooters down there too. The winners definitely earned it. Just enough switchy to make you wonder what?? For a match with 4 relays and pulled targets it went fast, right there with e-targets. My only complaint is that large concrete target counter weight at the end which was painter bright red...paint it orange or wrap that thing in foam. Its a head buster, got me and Donnie both. Pretty minor, we do need to watch where we're walking, LOL. Great match, great people, hope to be back next year! Eric in DL

Eric warned me of the weight and I walk into anyway. like he said watch where you are going!
great match very well ran. thanks to all and the best prize table I have seen. congrats to all
the winners I thank it was a great group of shooters. hope to be back next year. and will watch
where I walk. I hope! Donnie
