Look at the gross travel indicators and adjustable bezel

See the +/- symbols. They are reverse reading relative to each other. One works as a standard drop indicator, read as "+" as the stylus travels toward the indicator case. The other works as a dial bore gage indicator, read as a "-" using the same travel direction as the first.
