Minnesota State MR F-Class Championship

Elk River sportsman's Club will be hosting the tournament this year on August 13th & 14th. We have had great turn-outs for this event in the past, and expect to see a large increase in participants based on the number of new shooters for our league matches. We are hoping to see all of our friends from the surrounding states, and expect to have the same kind of stiff competition that was had in 2015.

Thought I would add some pictures of the t-shirts that you can order for the match. They are $20, and need to be ordered by the end of July. If you want one, email me with your name, size and number of shirts you want. You can pay for them the day you register, or send the money in with your registration. As the lady who designed them said...doesn't every guy want to walk around with a target on their back . The t-shirt has a target with the year on the back, but my image is too large to post. They will be gray with black lettering.

We are starting to receive some incredible certificates from gunsmiths, barrel manufacturers and optics companies that will be raffled off after the matches. Once a few more responses have come in, I will post who the sponsors are.

While I've started to get a reputation for traveling hither-and-yon to matches, Elk River continues to be one of my favorite places to shoot matches. The superior community/camaraderie, the caliber of talent, and the well run matches are a given. If Joel is running the matches, I'll miss the "Joel-Chris show" on the line as it is a riot and guaranteed to make you laugh. Put me down for a XL t-shirt. I'm looking forward to this one. Drew

This will allow the high masters to help the lower classified shooters on wind and Mirage reading skills. The winners of the team matches will come from what high masters can best help the lower classified shooters read the wind and place their shots. There will be first-place medals given to both the open and FTR team that shoots the highest score.

Thanks Keith. Ya I can't play that game any more I got my high master card now. Lodi was my first palma shoot that's a little different but fun and shooting at Lodi was fun.

Does any money from the tee shirt sales help your range or match? If so I'd take two but I'm not coming up there to get them you'll have to mail them to me.

Looks like not enough barbarians from up north to fill out team LEFSE!! We keep losing the Norwegians LOL to warmer climates....>Rod<...LOL . Looking for the days when you move to cooler climates.
