Mini Clays at 300 Yards.

The 3rd and final clay match for 2018 will be on September 30th at Small Groups Rifle Range near Commerce Tx. Four ten shot relays with a 10 minute sighter period before the first relay. Same rules as always. $35 entry fee with 80% of that going to prize money. See Small Groups web site for directions to the range. We should have some cooler weather by then. See you folks at the Sept. 15th Fly Match in Huntsville.

Its easy just think good thoughts and pull the trigger

Remember folks, in order to partake and have fun....you must remember your bolt. Don't ask me how I know

Oh, I hear a chair comes in handy too...right my Dodge driving buddy? :p

Looking forward to it. For those of you that have never tried Redneck Benchrest, you should come on out. This is a fun one.

So the website doesnt have any info on it- whats the format? Can you shoot sighters anytime? Its 4-10shot relays is that see how many you can break with 10 shots or what? What time do you usually get done?

Format is 4 relays of 10 targets. Sighters only before first relay. Usually over by 12:00.

Lots of 6br's, dashers, some 308 Tactical guy's, 6.5x47, 260rem, 6.5 credmoore, 6ppc. Bunch of stuff We have a fun time.:D

So a 17lb dasher will be legal i guess? I may try to make this one since wes’s match got rained out last weekend. What time does the range open?

Being 60-ish miles east of Dallas out 30, this one should be quite a bit closer for you. We don’t do bench draw nor rotations, so get there around 8, claim a bench & set your flags.

I didn’t get a picture of the leader board but Chris Harwell shot a 40/40 again.
Hopefully someone has a picture of the scores.
There were five 39 scores shot and they were in a shoot off for second thru sixth.
John Wheelock ended up 2nd and Scott Deal 3rd
Thanks to Denny and Polly Henderson for putting this match together.
According to Denny, matches will start up again in 2019.
Great bunch of guys and ladies to shoot with and a really nice range owned by Tim Sharp.

Here is the Leader Board from yesterday. Great job Chris Harwell another perfect score.

We also have a one shot "money shot" after the match at 300 yards. Several shooters were in the tiny red dot but Dave Williams put one shot almost dead center to win the cash. Some impressive shooting for sure.

Thanks Denny and Tim for giving us a beautiful place to shoot. Thanks to all the folks who showed up, great turnout...I had fun!
