Millett Scopes

Thanks to a lot of input from all of you and your posts I have found a lot of information about a scope that will fit my needs and budget.
My question, I would like to purchase a Millett 6-25x56 LRS with an illuminated reticle and .1 MOA adjustments or possilby a Millett Buck Gold with the same specs without the illuminated reticle. Any input about one vs. the other or another possibility I might have overlooked?

I very recently mounted a new Millett TRS-1 4-16x50 on a new project...a Savage Target action w/28" Pac Nor no taper tube chambered in 6.5x55 & 8 twist...a buddy and I each bought one on a dare....price was good...reviews were good..warranty by Bushnell......made in China glass is clear...SF works very well but sensitive...
After sighting in....one trip to the p/dog patch so far with it...seems to do what I tell it to do....from 0 to 450 yds then out to 775 yds with confirmed kills and back to -0-
This scope is one big honker....weight is no issue for me....the 6-25x56 w/35mm tube is another big honker....
So far I like it...my buddy likes his on his HB Savage 204...I bought three varmint scopes waiting for my Vortex PST 6-24...that one took 18 months to get...have not tested it yet..mounted it heavy 223 AI...try the Millett....you may like it !

Thank you Dog. I appreciate your input and the details of your project were awesome. Looks like I can't go wrong for the price. I think I will buy the LRS as weight is not an issue for me either. The long walks in the woods do me good and I can have a good piece of glass at the range as well. It will be mounted on a Model 70 Stealth with a 26" barrel in 308 using my loads. I will have to post a pic when the project is complete. I can put the Elite 4200 on the 7MM Rem Mag I use as a backup or if the LRS is that good I may buy two and sell the Elite.

I haven't used a Millet yet but a couple friends have the TRS-1 scopes & think quite a bit of them for the $.
