Millett 35mm tube

Last Millett scope I looked through had the reticle on whichever plane that makes the reticle larger as you increase the magnification. That was never desireable to me since the target gets smaller the further it is and the larger reticle covers too much of it.

Just my humble opinion.

Buzzard, save your money and buy a premium proven scope. S&B has the a statement in their adds 'That only a rich man can afford to buy a cheep scope.' Nothing could be more true when it comes to optics. I usually get the chore of mounting all the scopes for the other eight men and their families on our lease. We have one gentleman who insist on buy every new hyped up bargain he comes across, I wouldn't be exaggerating in the least to say he's waisted enough money on junk scopes over the last ten years to own a least one S&B or two Night Forces or three SIII or Leupolds. Yes a 30mm 6-24x56 Millet was one of his mistakes so I wouldn't expect much more from one with a 35mm tube. I'd rather own a 800.00 to 1000.00 glass mounted on a 400.00 rifle then a 1000.00 rifle wearing a 400.00 scope. You can usually make improvements to a rifle so it will shoot better, but you'll never shoot better then you can see. Buy the way I can't afford S&B scopes, but do own several Sightron SIII and RL Leupolds.
Hope you have good luck with whatever you choose.

RJ

I have one. It is ok and seems to track. I have it on a 338 DRT,300 ultra necked up and improved) optics are on par with the price point. With the right expectaions should be fine.
