Mil-dot reticule on SIII 6-24x50

For those who own one or have handled one, what is your opinion on the mil-dot reticule on the Sightron SIII 6-24x50 scope.

I already have the SIII 8-32x56 scope with fine cross hair dot and it is really nice. But I would like to know if the Sightron mil-dot is obtrusive or just right in the 6-24. Some mil-dots are too fat, too cluttered or the area of mil-dotting is too small. What say you?

The mil-dots on the Nikons were the best there was, then they screwed their scopes up with that BDC reticule crap.

Gentleben,
I have a 6x24 Sightron with the mildot & I would buy another. The clicks are super repeatable & the glass is terrific. You can look up the specs on it & find how fat the lines are. I don't remember off hand. Sightron started making the big sky & the $ went way up & sales must not have been what they wished. Now they are advertising,,back by popular demand) comes the S11's back with a higher price than before, but lower than the big sky. I've never heard anything negative about Sightron up to now. jmho

GB - the mil-dot in the 6-24x is pleasant, not overwhelming. Similar to a current glass etched Leupy mil-dot in size.

And the good thing is if you get it and don;t like it, you'll have people waiting in line to buy it from you :)

I say YOU look at the reticule/reticle specs on the Sightron website, and compare them to other reticules with which you're enamored.
