Mighty Armory decapper

Nothing but Excellence. I set up a case kicker on the Rock Chucker and proceeded to break in this new gizzie on some .223.
I was fiddle pharten around adjusting the diy kicker and after I started gaining speed, I ran the decapping pin down the side of two cases, substantially creasing them and creased the necks on several more. Did another couple of hundred cases w/o breaking ANYTHING. It is amazing....obtw, half were crimped, 1x military.
:eek::confused:

I'm a huge fan. I use a cheap dedicated press to decap.
Could not believe the difference, after using so many other universal decappers.
I keep the Small Lapua Pin in for all cartridges. They will not break or bend. You have to try it, to Feel the advantage.

Do you guys with the MA dies use the 'flicker' spring?

I've been having fits lately with my .223 Rem dies pulling the primer back into the pocket part ways, which *really* screws up the flow of operations in my 550, having to manually reverse things, or to double-stroke the ram to get the primer to pop free, or digging the spent primer out of the primer slide cup (running a separate sizing tool head, and another for priming/charging/seating). The description on the MA page doesn't really describe when/how it's needed, etc.

I got one the Mighty Armory decapper a while back. It is well built and works great.

Flicker spring? Function = shoves case out of a single stage press? If so, yes I do. The old hose clamp diy off of You tube.
If that isn't it, whatcha mean, amigo?

I love mine. And the guy that runs their email/social media is top notch be sent me the detachable pin rod for free when I broke my early model(not of any fault of theirs my hornady progressive didn’t index all the way, I was going to fast) all for the cost of a few of the pins. I want to try one of their sizing dies for 6.5x47 for sure. I think it’s the most used die I’ve ever had and I tell everyone about them who is getting set up to handload.

Appreciate the tip on this die; mine arrived today. Crimped NATO cases are as nothing to this thing.

I replaced the lock ring that came with it to a Forster lock ring. Set it where you want it and tighten the cross bolt. Spin die in and out, and it will go back to pre-set adjustment.

I am using the FW Arms decapper and it is friggin awesome. Even punches through berdan brass that sneaks through.

And the spring loaded sleeve makes sure the brass doesent wiggle around when entering the die. Pure genius.

I once stopped the machine after seeing the sleeve stuck. It had punched through and wadded up 3-22lr cases and kept on decapping.

Crushes small rocks inside cases. Pretty much bullet proof unless a case doesnt feed and the pin comes down on the rim.

Yup, the FW Arms decapper is really good. I used the one by Lee before on my Forster press and I would end up denting the edge of the brass mouth. No more problems when I switched to the FW Arms. In fact, I just ordered a second one and the small pins for use with BR brass.

If you use the discount code on Elfsters video, you can get a 10% discount and free shipping. It was still good last night when I ordered one.

If I am reading your post correctly it can be used of a Forster Co-Ax. Is that correct, cause it sure looks tall.

I just tried my Mighty Armory decapping die for the first time today on Peterson .308 small rifle primer....that brass has destroyed several Forester and Redding pins....but it shoots fantastic. The Mighty Armory die is so smooth, it's perfect. I will likely get another to stay with the Dillon 550.

When I got mine I ordered the small and large pin. I think that if you can break either pin during de-primming...You are doing something very wrong.
