Our last regular match was held today. The rain from HANNA held off until we all finished. Hope everyone had a great time this year. Thanks to everyone who attended any of the matches.

The next match on September 20th is a match for the shooters. The entrance fee will be $20 a gun no matter how many you shoot, of that $12.50 will go towards the prize monies so the pots will be a little bigger this time!! The Aggregate winners for this year will also be announced. Everyone is welcome to come and shoot old and new shooters alike. http://www.mifflincosportsmens.com/ for rules and info.
We will also hold a shooters meeting to discuss issues for next year, dates, rules, any changes to our format and anything else the shooters want to talk about.

Good shooting Joe. Who ever thought a body could shoot a 143 and not win Varmint Class?

That makes 2 clubs now that Gene & his 9 twist LRPV 22-250 have the season high Factory Varmint score at.
Great shooting Shaun & Gene.
Hear tell next week is a good time to get back to 80+ hour work weeks? ;-)

Congratulations to both Shaun and his dad they make a great team.

Gene's factory high score of 148 4x is sure to be in the books for a long, long time.

BTW
Gene's factory rifle was a Savage 22-250, 12 twist, shooting 62gr. Bergers with R17.

High Scores for the 2008 season were:

Factory Class
Gene Shank 148 4x 22-250 cal

Custom Limited Class 16.50 lbs. and under
Rod Morton 148 10x 6mmbr cal

Custom Unlimited Class 16.51 lbs. or more
Joe Pellegrene 146 7x 6mmbr cal

We shoot 200, 300, and 500 yards for both factory and custom.
The last match of the year is September 20th. All are welcome see you there.

Thanks for all the kind words. It means a lot coming from such good shooters. Work has finally slowed a little and we should be able to make it on the 20th. Hope to have a good turnout!

Thanks again. Shaun.
