It was nice to get down to Lodi and see a bunch of shooters I had not laid eyes upon between 10-20+ years back. Brought back a lot of good memories as it was my "local" range. Been 20 yrs since I won the MWPC and F class was still kind of a dream then. No regrets from pulling the plug on the game. Back to my fishing now.......

Heard that today's 1,000 yard events had to put up with some rain, 'then the SMT target system went down causing the last match to be cancelled. Then it rained some more....

Steve from my club shooter that is there that is correct. SMT system went down, which to be honest it never has functioned properly to no fault of the fine people of Winnequah club. Just another verse of the sad song of SMT targets failing in big matches From what I was told by him they have frames ready to go and are switching over to Shot Marker on the range. According to him goal was to get the Shot Marker up and running for this weekend state championship my guy said. But that might be 2nd, 3rd, 25th hand as far as what their plans were for the weekend.

Rained out today. Weather looks good for tomorrow. Word is, unofficially, we will be shooting on Shot Markers tomorrow. Hopefully that is the case. Other than the SMT's crapping the bed, again, the matches have been great!
