Midway Special - Free Primers?

Just saw this. Midway is hawking a RCBS rebel kit with which it claims to be giving away 1,000 FREE Remington 6-1/2 SRP. Given Remington's own warning about these low pressure primers, I'm just thinking that this could lead to problems for some people wanting to take advantage of the "deal" not knowing that the majority of the cartridges they plan on loading should not use these primers. I found that out the hard way when I had a box of 7-2/1's that inadvertently had one sleeve of 6-1/2 in it. One try and it confirmed not to use on 223.

The below disclaimer that is on the 6-1/2 primers alone is nowhere to be seen on the new "Special Offer"


Warning:

• Remington does not recommend this primer for use in the 17 Remington, 222 Remington, 223 Remington, 204 Ruger, 17 Remington Fireball. Use the 7-1/2 Small Rifle Bench Rest primer in these cartridges.
• This 6-1/2 Small Rifle primer is primarily designed for use in the 22 Hornet.

Thats not a midway deal thats an rcbs deal. I put a post up here last year with the link to claim your primers

6-1/2's do work fine in 9mm, .38 Spl, and most other standard pistol loads.
From way back, not knowing better, and taking factory published data listing that primer,
I have two fried AR bolts (100% pierced primers) that prove they don't work in .223.

Wonder how they would work with .223 "gopher loads"
