Midway Hazmat shipping??

Talked to my shooting buddy yesterday and he related a conversation that he had with Midway about Hazmat shipping fees.
Midway doesn't keep primers and powder in stock. That are stored at "two" seprate locations?? When you place an order for powder and primers you get "two" seprate hazmat fees! $20.00 x 2 = $40.00! Even if the combined weight is less that 40 lbs.
He wanted powder and primers until he was told about the fees! :tounge:
Anyone else run into this?

Thats the main reason I don't order Haz-Mat stuff from them, as most other suppliers
will ship them together for one fee up to a certain weight........

I avoid HazMat by buying from vendors at Shoots. If you need to buy by mail buy from a vendor that stocks primers or powder to avoid the double charge, only 1 HazMat charge.

Powder Valley, for one, will combine powder and primers under one hazmat. They generally have great prices too.
