Interesting comments, as my belief is this Lapua rimfire will continue to increase in price…tariffs or no tarriffs. I tried a few weeks ago to sell (7) bricks of Midas+ for $246/brick with no offers. Yesterday I shot some of it in a 100 yd Mini-Palmer match and won the open class. Soooo…I’m glad it didn’t sell. I’ll keep it now as Whidden is still selling out in both Midas+ and X-Act quickly. They are asking $396/brick for the X-Act…OUCH!!

I would LOVE to see more matches where director has decent ammo and you have to shoot what he has that day--we attend one match where they do that and they got hold of one lot of tac22 that shot like center x so for about two matches until it ran out guys were running the table but usually it works out great with every shooter struggling the same and..it is a popular class.
I have really enjoyed shooting ARA this year but with ammo prices like that I may just have to dial it back. There seems to be plenty of ammo for sale at larger matches from the big guys that travel but it is sold at a premium and like all lots is a crap shoot I recently bough a case of Center x that shot like crap in my CZ I bought another CZ and it shoots great in it so when buying rifles is cheaper than ammo "Houston we have a problem "

Can't believe it sold at those prices! I bout 9 bricks of Midas last week for $185 a brick off an individual, I have 7 bricks of Eley match for sale right now and can't ship it so I'm gonna have to try and sell it local...

You can ship it by UPS or FedEx. Small arms ammo is not a hazmat material. No USPS.
My local UPS & Fedex say you have to be licensed to ship ammo anymore

I believe your local UPS/Fedex people are incorrect. Google “shipping small arms ammo by UPS” for the correct information.
All we have local is a UPS Store which is individually owned, They won't ship anything gun related including ammo, they shut the counter down at the local UPS hub so we are at their mercy...

I just tested on Friday at Mesa and was told that up till just recently Lapua was absorbing the 10% tariff but now it is 15% so they are only willing to absorb 5% now so any ammo I got will have a 10% tariff on it.
with the case discount my dealer gives I am looking at minimum $21.00 a box shipped for Midas+, I hope.
but with this kind of test results I am not going to complain!

You are absolutely correct. The UPS stores won’t take it. They don’t take anything gun related. I tried to ship a rifle scope and they wouldn’t take it. I went a couple of days later and called it a telescope and they took it. I didn’t lie.

Save the diamond labels from ammo you Receive. Then slap
It on do UPS on pirateship.com drop it to a driver or any drop off point and bingo. It is all ready to go they just scan it don’t ask a thing and you are legal
