Hi, I'm considering to get a lathe and wondering if any one can offer comments and opinion about this one? Or in general?
How critical is spindle bore? This one is 1.03"
It's 3/4 HP

The bed is to short on that one for doing barrel work between centers unless you do pistol barrels..
The headstock at barely over a inch will pose problems also if you plan on chambering through it if I'm reading your numbers correctly...

My vote is for a 1-1/2 thru the headstock to be a minimum .

Too small in every way...
