Mesa Summit/Pure Precision Skltn bolt differences

Hello all. I am wanting to change the bolt face of my Mesa Summit short action from standard to magnum but I have been told that the extractor may not let that happen. It is a mini M16. Pure Precision does not support the Summits anymore so I was wondering if a Skltn bolt would function in a Summit? I can't seem to get much information out of PP about the differences in the two. I am hoping someone has both actions and could tell me if the bolts will function between the two models. Thanks for any information you have.
