Merchant account was shut down

A bit of a public service announcement - my credit card processing account was shut down for "a violation of terms" - otherwise known as legally selling bullets. They didn't even bother to tell me. So apologies to everyone who has been trying to buy bullets recently. I'm working on resolving it. It's supposedly a firearms friendly vendor, so wish me luck.

If anyone needs to put in an order quickly, I can take checks. Just message me first and I can get you taken care of.

They guy I spoke to at the processor told me there was a regulatory change recently that triggered it. Jim Borden had an issue recently too. The company I use is supposedly firearms friendly. So we'll see.

Credit card processors. Their claim to fame was simplifying the process and bringing credit card processing to the masses and cutting out all the hoops and mumbo jumbo of the big banks. They supply the point of purchase tablets you find in coffee shops and the like. Also the portable phone compatible swipe and bluetooth touch readers.

They are/were less expensive that the traditional bank processors, you could use an iPhone or iPad and not have the equipment sitting on your countertop to process.

The thing about all this that surprises me is that John Q. Public is apparently blissful unaware that this type of spending control will eventually permeate into their own lifestyle and hobbies. Of course by then it will be far too late.
