Yes very heavy but I do love mine, and the price point it's hard to beat. I have owned three and still have my 5-30x56, I think gave 1,100 two years ago for it. My Zeiss S3 6-36x56 I gave 2,150 for around a year ago and this Meopta is just as clear and tracts great as well.
