Men of their word

I was told many years ago by my grandfather, that there are two types of men in this world, good and bad.
I was not just taught, but shown, that there is nothing lower than a man who doesn't have honor.
In his word and in his actions, speak the true measure of ones worth.

I write this to commend many here. Upon having lunch with someone the other day, I was listening to them complain about all of the sharks and "chicken-****" scoundrels out there on the Internet. I was proud to advise him that, "I know a place where folks aren't like that!"

Being he's not a shooter, he would have no reason to find us. However, I count myself lucky to have made some great friendships and loyalties on this forum.
There are many who don't find it necessary to condemn or belittle another for what they do not know.
I have thanked the forum boss in the past, for the hard work he does. But, I would like to complement you fellow men of honor, who keep your word during trades and sales.

The vast majority of the men on this forum are Patriots, and men of honor. It is our obligation to pass this on to our sons and grandsons. That honor and respect, is not something purchased off of e-bay, it is earned and developed, through an infinite series of test.

For without his word, a man is nothing.

Thank you, to my fellow forum members.

All you have is your word. Some people just dont care and if I ever screw up,I try to fix my messes.

Well stated and I will vouch for Preacher and Jon! Two really good guys that always are willing to help me. :)

Well stated. Ihave not been a member here for very long, but have been met with great respect and a willingness to share knowledge and insight. The couple of deal I have made in the marketplace have been extraordinarily easy with great people to deal with. A big thanks to all the honorable fellows on here.

I'd say 99% of everyone I've delt with on this site have been nothing less then happy to help me with my questions and concerns. for no reason other then the feeling of helping someone. yet were the gun owners. we should be fighting and deceiving eachother etc. ;)

My hat's off to a truly brave patriot - Sean Sullivan. I'm honored to have him as a pal. May the wind be always at you back, my friend!

Well stated sir I for enjoy reading on tis forum an hav talked with some great people from this site. Yes what woud we be with out our word!!!

Recently I ordered a new Vickerman die and gave them my credit card number. Somewhere along the way either I gave him the wrong info or he wrote it down wrong. No matter what, he could not charge my card. He had my phone number and address but instead of calling me, he sent me an invoice with the package in the mail with a simple note to call him or send a check when I had the time. Where else could you find service like this except for in the brotherhood of shooters? I fear that the modern generation will not carry on such a fine and noble example of what it is like to live in trust of your fellow man. May my word be my bond until my last breath on this earth. Tom
