Gotta brag on Katie some more. We just got home from the Spring Selection matches at Ft Benning and Katie did it again. She finished 3rd in 3 position rifle behind Virginia Thrasher and Sarah Beard. That third place finish makes her one of the youngest ever (15) to be selected to a World Cup team. This selection gets her to the Bejing and Munich World Cups. She is phenomenal under pressure. She just kept getting better and better through each stage of the finals. What an amazing young lady!!
Thanks Marc. Sure wish I could’ve been down there. I will see you at JOs though. Katie declined her spot on the team for Beijing. Would’ve been really fun to go to but she has had one hectic shooting schedule as of late. I think she would’ve had to leave right after JOs. She will definitely go to Munich though. It stinks to have to turn down an opportunity to shoot in a World Cup Match but she’s already missed a ton of school this Winter. With her being gone so much I’ve noticed she doesn’t have much time to work on her weaknesses either.
I was going to warn you not to let your wife look through that March scope. I hear it’s too late and she really wants one now too.![]()
