Meehl Solutions powder dispenser

That is going to look snazzy with the grey! I look forward to some photos when you get a unit!

Also as a FYI to the group the FX120i is being phased out and discontinued by A&D and we will be moving over to the FX123 in the next year or so.
Definitely will share photos… as I reload poolside lol!

I wish there was a good video of this unit in use instead of that dumb speeded up video they posted that tells nothing, when I see advertisement like that it doesn't make me feel confident it makes me feel like they are hiding something. I'm not saying they are I just want to see it work in real time.

Stay tuned. There will be a few posted publicly. Lots of videos among private chats but I'll leave it up to those people to post.

Oh sweet, I hope some folks start posting soon!
I’m itching to see that thing in action.

Here is some footage from one of our beta testers.
More, more, more! Hahaha… I need to see more of this product.

Hopefully there’s a plan in the works for an “in-depth” video of the finished product, preferably on YouTube?

I’d offer to make one myself but I haven’t uploaded a video in like 8yrs (lol)… I mean if Meehl wants to send over a T&E unit for a video I’ll drop everything and relaunch my channel. Lol

Looks like it's twice as fast as the Chargemaster.
You can really dial in speed vs accuracy with my unit. For reference if you are ok with a slight decrease accuracy I can get 32 grains of Varget down to around 6-7 seconds a throw. I have recently added a Fast mode, Slow mode and opened up a lot of the parameters to allow the users to tune each profile to there use case in the most recent Firmware update based off Beta User recommendations. Speed comes down to how consistently the powder meters some you can really push others you need to take a slower approach to achieve a high degree of precision.

Curious with the “Fast” mode 6-7sec avg Varget throw you mentioned, what is the success rate? For example in say 100 throws would you expect 10 or less over-throws? 20 or more…30 or more?

The image above is in fast mode. Between 82-89% is what I am seeing testing with Varget. Not fast mode is also not slow as well. Averaging around 9.5 seconds with greater accuracy.

That’s actually really good performance. With the new V4 fine tube overserts from MK Machining (during beta-testing) I was able to get sub 10sec avg throw times and 95+% success rate throwing a 45.5gn load of Varget. At best I was really only able to get about 7.5 sec avgs and that’s with the success rate down about 80%. So you have to figure that’s the V4, with additional “aftermarket” accessories added to enhance speed. So it’s sounding like “out of the box” (I know it’s still essentially in beta-testing) the Meehl Solutions system will likely be able to outperform the V4.

I love using Varget as a test powder too, because for one, it’s such a great powder and almost everyone has a load for it; but also it’s sort of a challenging extruded powder for dispensers to handle with its varying kernel sizes/shapes/weights. If I could get my SuperTrickler to run it great I’d probably have a bench full of those. But then again if I could fly I’d never have to walk or drive anywhere. There’s a significantly higher probability that the latter will actually happen.
