Here is something that you might test. I always wondered if bolts with pinned
bolt heads dampen the firing pin impact and slow down the firing pin.

The ignition cycle is completed before the firing pin bottoms out inside the bolt, and or it never even gets to bottom out during the entire firing cycle.

Did you determine a hardness value for the shroud you can share?

It used to be the Remington 788 had the fastest lock time. Have modern actions been able to beat its' lock times?

No idea, as I do not have the actual data on that.

60 RC is what we use and found to be the lowest CF in our testing.

Two different bullet pointing. This was sent in from a shooter of a Paragon. 10 shots to be less than 2" vertical at 1000 is pretty good paper proof. ..
