While the Sinclair unit is designed to measure groups, I don't think that its design is consistent with what I have seen used to measure groups at matches. On the other hand, the Jones unit is. I have not seen the one that Jim Borden makes, but I am pretty sure that it would work on the same principle as the Jones. A phone call would confirm this.

Oops, sorry, do they use a yardstick or a tape measure? Seriously, what do they use? The ones that I mentioned are only limited by the maximum capacity of the caliper that they are attached to.

Hart also used to make a scoring device. I did a quick check of their web site and couldn't find it. I've modified the Jones a little, made a new template which included some popular bullet diameters which are missing from the original. I've looked at the sinclair version, prefer the old school template...

Sure would make things a lot easier if posters would clarify what shooting discipline their question is in reference to.
And I don't think Jim Borden makes any, I believe they just keep some on hand that were made by an outside vendor.

The 4 different 1K ranges i go to use the the same tool. Try someone from Va1000 or Harry Jones for the correct info. on the tools....... jim
