I did. I was told "it should." To my knowledge the kelbly atlas tac isn't a true drop in rem 700 clone. I forgot why, but the trigger hanger might be the reason. But it is a rem 700 cloneIf it's a true 700 footprint, the Oryx for the 700's will fit up.
Contact MDT direct for any concerns.
I had a Mcrees chassis that was for Rem 700 actions and my Atlas didn’t fit. It was the trigger hanger that got in the way. I had to file about a 3/4” wide by a 1/4” deep recess out of the chassis to get the trigger hanger to fit. It was a pretty easy job and otherwise the Atlas fit perfectly.I did. I'll take a picture chassis I had needed alot of metal taken out, and I was going to do it, but other things stopped me as well. Good to know that no modification was needed. Oryx in on the short list of chassis's for me.Yes. No. And I have had to deal with the Kelbly semi clone issues with other stocks.

Hey, one last question for you. Can you get a cleaning rod to go it without bending if you take the check riser off, or is the butt stock still in the way?Yes. No. And I have had to deal with the Kelbly semi clone issues with other stocks.

Butt stock is always in the way, slightly. With a flexable cleaningHey, one last question for you. Can you get a cleaning rod to go it without bending if you take the check riser off, or is the butt stock still in the way?
Thanks!
I use a long rod, and there is just a little offset, if I remember it correctly. Haven't shot it for a while now.Can you get a cleaning rod to go it without bending if you take the check riser off, or is the butt stock still in the way?
Read a review where one guy took apart the whole back end of the buttstock to clean his rifle.
Read on a forum. Believe it was Josh from MDT. Pretty much said the same thing, which is good to hear. They are aware, and kept it like it is, and it sounds like they have good reason. My only thing is, I wish it were a little lighter, but for the price. I'm fine with it. Looking forward to getting one.Guy's like that doing reviews, probably never really owned one, and
just doing a word of mouth thing to feel important......MDT could easily
do a fix, but then the butt would be lower and taking away how straight
of a pull that stock affords. I got my first one just after they came out.
It's been so long now that I just don't give it a thought !!
ill post some tonight when I take it out to play with it, hahaPics.....!!
