I guess we shall see. But really I have no doubt that the mags will function properly, the suspect will be more if your action is up to the task of picking the round up and then after firing extraction and ejection.
I have a 6br barrel on order and had never shot a 6br until this past Thursday. This is my buddy's that we headspaced on a Savage repeater. We ran it with two Magpul p-mags and two AICS mags with the Primal kits installed. As long as you manipulated the bolt with a medium fast stroke all four ran without issue.
This ^^^ I noticed also. I would call and ask questions before I purchased, but that's just me. I'd rather speak to someone on the phone then text or email.

As the practical/tactical game has evolved, with low recoil and high accuracy becoming ever more important, many top competitors have moved to smaller cartridges such as the 6mm Dasher and its parent, the 6mmBR Norma. These cartridges deliver outstanding accuracy plus good barrel life. However, the “short, fat” 6BR/Dasher design doesn’t feed optimally in magazines designed for the .308 Win family of cases. Yes you can modify your own magazines (Mag Mod HERE), or buy a pricey conversion kit, but now there is a turn-key solution from MDT (Modular Driven Technologies).
MDT’s 6mm BR magazine fits the parent 6mmBR cartridge and all the popular varients including the 6 BRA, 6 Dasher, and 6 BRX. MDT says this new 12-round magazine is a “one-step solution [delivering] smooth, reliable feeding for the most popular rifle cartridges in precision rifle competitions.”
MDT built this AICS-pattern mag for PRS/NRL competitors and anyone wanting to run 6mmBR-family cartridges in mag-fed actions: “The limiting factor for competitors running 6mm BR variants has been feeding. Until now, the only option has been to purchase an AICS-pattern magazine plus an additional kit to make the magazines work with the shorter cartridges. This solution costs upwards of $100 or more and can require additional tuning to work in most rifles.”
The MDT 6mm BR mag has a maximum internal length of 2.580″, which accommodates pretty much any 6mm bullet you’d want to use. These MDT magazines are crafted from quality steel, nitride-treated, then black Cerakote finished inside and out. To reduce friction between cartridge and magazine body, MDT added two internal ribs which provide a smooth transition from double stack to single-feed.

I wish I shared your confidence but I am a realist. In reality many short action guns have feeding issues with the BR based cartridges and AICS type mags. I tried two different kits and neither worked and as far as manipulating a bolt just right to get cartridges to feed, well, that's just not reliable feeding.
I badly want these to work but I think I am going to save my $100 bucks until the reports start comingout. From the pictures it appears we are just dealing with a factory "kitted" magazine. This works for some but not for others.

I just ordered one to try in 30BR with M5 on a Atlas Tactical. $98.00 delivered. I was about to order another AICS and PR kit, but this offers 2 more rounds, saves a few $... I saw mixed reviews on the early ones from last year on SH. Looks like they made some changes recently to the follower. They have a 30 day $ back guarantee. We shall see.

I tried the MDT BR mags. In fact tried 2 of them. Neither could I get to work. MDT was as helpful as possible suggesting different things to try and “tune” the mags. Just never would get better than failing every 5-7 round.
My setup is a Manners mini chassis with Bighorn TL3 running the BRA cartridge. From suggestions I had from OTM and some other shooters suggested to try the PVA kit and Accurate Mags. I was also suggested to try AiCS AW with HRD KIT. A little tuning with the AW HRD and it works perfectly. Also bought a couple of accurate mags using the PVA kit. (It “looks” very similar to the MDT). However the accurate mags with PVA kits work perfectly. No tuning. In fact 2 mags work perfectly to this limited time Of shooting with them. Between the 2 different kits. The Accurate Mag with PVA seems to function smoother than the AW with HRD kit in my setup.

Feeding issue with 6BR magazine kit are almost always relate to magazine latch and the magazines detent. Sometimes the feed-lips need tweaking. It's always a little custom. We have seen all of these magazines both work and not work depending on the individual rifle / stock / DBM. Nothing is plug-and-play.
With regards to Bighorn actions specifically. We have had guys running 10's of thousand of rounds using magazine kits in Bighorn Tactical/TL2/TL3 actions in various stocks and chassis for +5 years. Some worked out of the box, some needed help.

I have a 6 Dasher barrel on my Curtis Vector sitting in a KMW Sentinel chassis. It will feed with either AIAW or Magpul AICS mags with a caveat. It feeds best, considering I have not played with the overall length of the mag catch, with the Magpul mags. The AIAW mags I am using the HRD-Gear kits. If I insert a Magpie mag in the Vector I need to pull down slightly on the mag for smooth feeding. It also takes a little finagling to get the AW mags to feed 100%. As @Delfuego states it is all about magazine positioning in the chassis/stock.
BTW, those AW mags with HRD_Gear kits work perfectly in my AIAT with a Keystone 6BR barrel.

I have 14 of them to feed all my AI rifles. Also have a couple of Badger M2008s and never had an issue in any rifle when the rifle/chassis is set up correctly for the AW mag.Good news! Guy that makes them is a good guy too. AW mags are awesome when they work, but I have seen them thrown downrange at more than one match when they don't
BTW, I agree with you on the HRD-Gear guy.
