From Jesse, Match Director/President:
Last Saturday was the first MCSA 600 Yard shoot of the season. Considering that it was Easter weekend and terrible conditions, we still had 40 guns participate. Everyone had a good time; winds were terrible in the early part of the day but died down in the afternoon; very non-typical for our range. We did manage to get 2 people to volunteer to help cook and assist with the running of the match and those people will have their $25.00 maintenance assessment returned to them. I would like to thank Zach and Melissa, who are regular members (not participating in the match) who volunteered their Saturday to help us out. I would also like to thank our "regular" helpers/shooters who always seem to pitch in. Without these guys MCSA would not be able to sponsor these matches. (Vince, Ron, Doug, Joe, Austin, Tom, Steve, Bill, Dean & Mike) Congratulations to Mike Redin, the big winner of the match.
The first GroundHog Match will be April 27th.
