McRee stocks

I have a Remmy 243AI thats been warmed over with a Hart 9 twist tube, an action job, a Rifle Basix trigger, and a H-S stock. I'm thinking after the first of the year, taking it a bit farther with a McRee stock and some type of detachable mag system. Any opinions, good or bad on the McRee's? I'm hoping to find a good used one if possible. What's the odds on that? Thanks

my best friend has a savage lrp 260 in one...pretty good feeling stock. his is the 5th version, i think?, and it has a gap between the trigger guard and the grip...and that annoys the piss out of me, but it sitll feels really good

I'd give them a big thumbs up. I have one on my Savage FTR rifle and it shoots lights out. I have a second one that was on a Remington 700 varmint rifle and it made a world of difference. I haven't had much interest so far on this site so if it doesn't sell it won't break my heart. I'll end up making a new center section for it and using it as a rimfire trainer with a Savage Mark II.
