McMillian Butt Pad

Cut it off and fit then epoxy a new one on. Put the new pad on a belt sander to get it flat. I use 5 minute steel epoxy. I also go around the edge of the fiberglass and scratch out a shallow groove to add contact area for the epoxy.

I got the old pad cut off. There appears to be a black spacer but I think it's there to stay as it seems to be a part of the stock. I will measure and I have gone to McMillian web site for a replacement. New pad may give me an indication of what to do and what's next.
Thanks for your guidance

The black spacer is part of the pad.
